The kettlebell is a cast iron weight used to perform ballistic exercises that combine cardiovascular strength and flexibility training.
Unlike traditional dumbells, the kettlebell’s centre of mass is extended beyond the hand. This facilitates ballistic and swinging movements. Kettlebell exercises build strenght and endurance, particularly in the lower back, legs and shoulders. Our course will teach you kettlebell movements such as the swing, snatch, clean and jerk. It will also teach you advanced level 3 kettlebell training systems.
To do this course you must have completed your level 2 Gym Instructor course. This course entitles you to 8 REPs points and carries an assessment.
